Mission Statement
Smoke Jumper Nonprofit Consulting will partner with nonprofit organizations to identify and address any critical issues and opportunities. I will help develop a plan and support its implementation. The goal always being to increase funding / public support , increase public awareness and mission delivery .
My Experience
With 40 years in the nonprofit industry, I have gained experience, knowledge and wisdom from working on the front lines of a large national nonprofit. I have learned through having successes and making some mistakes.
For over 10 years, I served as an interim executive director for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I was charged with going in to markets and protecting the campaign / special events revenue stream, ensure best practices compliance, and address any personnel issues. I excelled at breaking down silos and quickly getting buy-in from the staff and volunteers. I gravitated towards opportunities, problems and issues. I am proud of the success I would have in turning a chapter around a short period of time.
I want to take this experience and knowledge and share it with other nonprofits. I want to put it to work for you by combining my experience with my passion to help others. I don't believe in advising and then leaving, I will want to work with you to see it through!
